Well, the old statement still stands. "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!"

Okay, this wasn't as bas as <gag>#2 or #3. Essentialy, Highlander:Endgame is just a two-hour episode of the Highlander TV series. Unlike the previous three, this is really Duncan MacLeod's movie and not Connor's. To say much more would give away the plot, and I shall avoid doing that to you. Basically, Christopher Lambert is getting old and it shows, and you can't have an immortal aging...
Once again, they totallt screw the ending of thr original movie to provide a beginning point for this one. At least it's not a totally lame explination of why Connor got the Prize, even though there were immortals still alive. Instead, it just makes as if it didn't happen. Still dosen't work. After that, we're drawn into a plot with some depth to it, and some interesting broodings, but there isn't a lot to it. A new bad guy isn't playing by the rules and has become vastly powerful, so the Watchers get involved and it's up to Duncan and Conner to take him out.
The swordplay is pretty well done, (Not at good as the original.), but they mess with the camera angles and shots so much to cover up anything, that much of the swordplay becomes frustrating.
Bruce Payne plays the bad guy, and while he's got a nifty sword, he plays the character way over-the-top. I can only guess that this was totally intentional.
For the people who just drool over Adrian Paul, there's a good shot of his bare butt in the love scene.
I just hope there aren't any more and the director's cut of Highlander 1 become more common...

Highlander: Endgame is not worth paying full price, or even close to full price. I list it at about $3.50.
